We even turned the A/C on during services this past Sunday!

Fr. Dennis joined us this past Sunday for Holy Communion services. We were delighted to see him again and see him looking so well! His sermon focused on the part of The Gospel lesson from John 16 in which Jesus tells the disciples that "It is expedient for you that I go away...". He reviewed three reasons why this statement was true:
1. The disciples' faith would be tested and strengthened by facing the world on their own.
2. The disciples insight and understanding of Jesus's ministry would be increased - they would have many "Oh, so that's what He meant moments".
3. The disciples would no longer be tied to a physical location near the earthly Jesus Christ but would have Christ with them where ever they went.
Thank you Fr. Dennis for the wonderful sermon! Also, thank you so much for making the drive over the mountains to be with us again!
