The Most Reverend Chandler Jones joined us this past Sunday. Bishop Jones started the service with the Sacrament of Holy Confirmation and then led a beautiful Holy Communion service. Fr. Yossi presented six people for confirmation and one person to be received!
In his sermon, Bishop Jones reminded us that the Second Sunday in Advent is also known as Bible Sunday. He then tied together Christ as the eternal word of God, the importance of Bible Study to Christians, and the Christian's answer to the charge of being a sinner at the final judgement.
Please find the complete service and sermon at the following link:
Thank you Bishop Jones for the beautiful service. Thank you, Fr. Yossi and Br. Scott for serving with the Bishop.
Congratulations and welcome to all our new members: Hutch, JP, Misty, Lin, Sam, and Mere (sadly - not pictured is Josh)!

We enjoyed a BBQ themed lunch with Bishop Jones after services! Rose Marie and Lin picked up the BBQ fixings from Phil's Dream Pit. All the other delicious dishes were brought by St. Peter's amazing members!
Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful food and company!
During lunch, Carol led us in a joyful rendition of "Jesus Loves Me."
After lunch Bishop Jones signed the new prayer books for several of the confirmands.
We were so happy to have Mike and Claudia with us!! A most blessed and wonderful Second Sunday in Advent!
