After services we enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Melinda, Misty, and Rose Marie. Their Mexican themed lunch included black beans, refried beans, Mexican chicken casserole, Caesar Salad, tossed salad, tortilla chips with many salsas, key lime pie, chocolate pie, ice cream, candy, and cookies! Thank you so much for the feast!

The children's Sunday School class begins at 9:15. We are using the program produced by the APA - "The Life of Christ - From Bethlehem to Emmaus".

Fr. Paul has arranged to run both radio and print ads for St. Peters this Easter Season. The ad will run in the Johnson City Press and the Kingsport Times News on both April 5 and April 10. We will run radio ads on several stations including WHCB, WPWT, WHGG, & WCQR. The ads on WCQR will run on April 7 and April 13. Also WCQR will put the above image on their webpage. I will post more information as I receive it!

Please consider a Memorial Contribution towards the lilies used on the alter during our Easter services. Please give the names of your loved ones to Fr. Paul or any member of the Mission Committee and place designated contributions in the collection plate on or before Palm Sunday.

After Easter services, we will celebrate with a Festive Congregational Easter Feast. The church will provide an Easter ham, side dishes, and drinks! Please sign up downstairs so we can have accurate head count!

We had a great time this past Saturday at our 'Burgers & Bingo' night.

We enjoyed burgers with all the fixings and a variety of chips and cookies!
We had several exciting games of Bingo led by our MC extraordinaire, Diane.

We had lots of prizes including a big basket of goodies for the final round!

Thank you to everyone who made it a great evening out, particularly Rose Marie for organizing everything!

Spring Cleaning


A Spring Work/Clean Up Day to prepare the church for Easter is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 @ 10:00. The work includes trimming bushes, picking up trash around the property, pulling weeds (removing roots), removing some bamboo, and generally sprucing up the yard as well as some deep cleaning in the sanctuary. Please bring your garden tools (shovels, hedge trimmers, clippers, weed wackers, rakes, root slayers, etc...).
The church will provide a pizza lunch for everyone! Please join us as we keep the church looking nice!

Jim has scheduled the first meeting of The Anglican Anglers for this year. They will meet at St. Peter's at 10 am on Saturday, April 12 and will head over to the weir dam area of the Holston River. Starting with this outing, Jim is welcoming both spin and fly fishermen. Please see Jim with any questions.
